Pandorea pandorana - Image courtesy of WeedbustersSpecial disposal notes: Cut stems can layer – Hang up off the ground or leave up in vegetation to dry out, dry and burn it, or take to landfill.

How to Control:

  1. Hand pull small infestations, dig out roots.
  2. Cut stump application: Cut stems at ground level and treat stump with (200ml glyphosate/1L water) or (1g metsulfuron/1L water) or (100ml Tordon Brushkiller/1L water) or (100ml triclopyr/1L water).
  3. Spray if underlying vegetation not desirable (100ml glyphosate/10L water) or (5g metsulfuron/10L water).


Cut stumps and stems resprout so check regularly and follow up as required to eradicate. Dispose of cut plant material at a refuse transfer station, burn it, or bury it deeply. Remove fruits to prevent seeding.
