We had a blast at the Whangārei Heads School Funky Fishing and Diving Competiton on Sunday, thank you for having us!
Our moth plant pod competition was a bit more exciting than we had planned, with a few competitors coming in right on the cut off time, or even after it!
All teams wanted to be weighted in, so we gave awards for the top three teams by weight. The winners were:
: Langdon Dudes with 11.6kg of pods
: Higgy Hill Hustlers with 21.8kg of pods
: Mud Stream Crew with a whopping 41.7kg of pods!

Well done to all of the participants for removing a total of 109.5kgs of pods from our environment in just a 24 hour period.
Next year we will be back with a longer collecting period and more advance warning so you can get your team together.
